Charles Barkley will be the guest picker for the Iron Bowl on ESPN’s College GameDay this Saturday.

It’s the final week of the college football regular season and bowls are just around the corner. The College Football Playoff is also just around the corner and the Iron Bowl between Alabama and Auburn will have plenty of implications this week. As a result,  ESPN’s College GameDay will be live from Auburn.

These two teams have played some of the most memorable football games in college football’s greatest rivalry over the years. The winner of this one will face Georgia in the SEC Championship, which is another game with playoff implications.

The Tigers are going for their second chance to knock off the No. 1 team in the country this season. They already did it once by dispatching the Bulldogs and would love to be able to take down their rivals.

With a big Iron Bowl set to take place this week, College GameDay will have Charles Barkley as the guest picker. The NBA legend and former Auburn Tiger has made it no secret how much he loves his program over the years.

While it seems pretty clear who he is going to pick, there is nothing more entertaining than Barkley on live television and the random stuff that will come out of his mouth in the process. He along with Lee Corso and everyone else should be plenty fired up for a game between two teams that hate each other.

Alabama wants to return to the College Football Playoff to avenge their loss in the championship game last year. The Tigers would love to have another crack at bringing home a title this year as well and know they need to win out to get in. There is so much on the line in this one.
