After a delay to be respectful of the victims of the concert shooting in Las Vegas, the CW will continue and conclude their broadcast from the two-night event on Nov 24. The iHeartRadio Music Festival was held in Las Vegas on Sept. 22 and 23 earlier this fall, in the same venue as the shooting. The event was originally set to be broadcast the first week in October but was pulled from the schedule after the shooting. The networks special from the first night of the two-day event aired the day before Thanksgiving (Nov. 22), and a broadcast from the second night will follow the day after (November 24).
The slate of performers both nights was fairly impressive. Where the first night featured the likes of Pink and Harry Styles, night two turned up the heat. Some of the performers featured on the second night of the show are Lorde, Kesha, DJ Khaled, Miley Cyrus, and Kings of Leon. Additionally, night 2 had a plethora of guest appearances and surprises sprinkled throughout the show.
While I wouldn’t want to spoil all the surprise appearances before the broadcast, let’s just say that DJ Khaled brought the house down for more than one of the guest appearances during his set.
Hopefully, you caught the broadcast from night one of the Festival (if not, you can find it here). However, this is not the type of event that requires too much context to enjoy.
