The Washington State Cougars will meet the Washington Huskies for a chance to go to the Pac-12 Conference Championship Game on Saturday.

The Washington State Cougars have their biggest opportunity in front of them. On Saturday, the Cougars have a chance to punch their ticket to the Pac-12 Championship Game when they take on the Washington Huskies in the Apple Cup.

These two rivals would love nothing more than to beat the other and this year, it’s the Cougars that have everything to play for. After Stanford was able to knock off the Huskies, it meant that Mike Leach’s squad simply needs a win this week.

Date: Saturday, Nov. 25
Start Time: 8:00 p.m. ET
Location: Seattle, WA
Venue: Husky Stadium
TV Info: FOX
Live Stream: FOXSportsGO, FuboTV

If they lose, then the Cardinal will be on their way to face the USC Trojans in the championship game. The cougars would love to face USC again this year after they already knocked them off earlier in the season.

The defense was able to get after Sam Darnold and force him into several key fumbles along the way. In the Apple Cup, the Huskies have gotten the better of the Cougars under Chris Petersen’s tenure. Last year, it was the Huskies that won and went on to have a season that saw them make the College Football Playoff, while the Cougars went to the Holiday Bowl.

It’s going to be tough sledding on the road if the Cougars are going to come away with the victory on the road in Seattle. Currently, Washington is the heavy favorite and that means it will be time once again for Leach’s squad to try to pull off the upset. If the Cougars are able to win on the road, it will be their first trip to the Pac-12 Championship Game.
