The Atlanta Hawks (4-16) will host the Cleveland Cavaliers (14-7) on Thursday night. Here is how to watch this NBA game online.

Tonight’s matchup between Cleveland and Atlanta will pit the two teams against one another for the first time since the Cavaliers’ Nov. 5 loss at home as part of their 5-7 slide to start the season. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Phillips Arena in Atlanta.

The Cavaliers have bounced back from their disappointing start to surge to win nine straight games. They are rounding into shape around MVP candidate LeBron James and are expecting to get Isaiah Thomas back sometime in December or January.

The Hawks have performed as pre-season projections expected, with one of the worst defenses in the league and an offense not much better. Point guard Dennis Schroeder has looked solid despite the exodus of talent the team suffered this summer. He will hope to take advantage of Cleveland’s point guard rotation, which has struggled defensively all year.

The Hawks announced Wednesday that big man Dewayne Dedmon will miss three to six weeks with a stress reaction in his left leg. Cleveland will also be without center Tristan Thompson and guard Iman Shumpert is questionable. These teams are both at less-than-full strength.

ESPN’s Basketball Power Index gives Atlanta just a 38 percent chance of winning, buoyed by being at home. The betting line for the game favors Cleveland by eight points.
