Here are five things you may have missed during this week in the NBA.

It’s easy to forget about the NBA this week during everything happening in college football. With the College Football Playoff coming up, bowl season right around the corner and the coaching carousel in full swing, things are heating up in the college world. But don’t sweat, NBA fans. The NBA has had much of the same things going on; big, primetime match ups and coaching changes. Further, injuries and ejections have added to the mix, making the NBA even more unpredictable.

Russell Westbrook got bodied as the Thunder continue their losing ways. The Arthur memes continued with the Cavaliers, who’ve lost just one game since the posting of the first meme. Enes Kanter continues to banter with LeBron James, the Knicks aren’t terrible, but nearly had a heart attack when Kristaps Porzingis went down on Wednesday night. Luckily for the league, Porzingis is fine. However, Blake Griffin isn’t. The Clippers are cursed and DeAndre Jordan needs out of Los Angeles immediately.

The Lakers surprisingly took the Warriors into overtime and the Rockets, Sixers and Pistons continued their winning ways. With Christmas right around the corner, the NBA is nearing one of the most exciting times of the year. Fans are beginning to learn who is a contender (Cavaliers) and who is a fluke (Thunder).
