High Salary Goalies

Jonathan Quick, LAK vs. MIN ($8800): Quick nearly shutout Chicago on Monday and will have an elite match up against the 15th ranked offense of Minnesota. His price is expensive but his floor is high due to win probability bonus.

Cory Schneider, NJ at CBJ ($8200): The New Jersey keeper is having a decent season and faces a team that might seem at first like a bad matchup. The Devils play a very puck controlled game and don’t give up odd man rushes which has led to a fantasy points average of 20.3 on the season for Schneider. He’s priced a little high but the matchup is not out-of-order based on the game projected total of five and a half goals.

Carter Hutton, STL at MON ($8000): Hutton struggled last game out giving up three goals on just 31 shots and took the loss. Don’t game log watch too much on this one. The Blues are a very good team and will want to make sure they don’t allow the Canadiens to embarrass them like they did the Red Wings last time out.

High Value Goalies

Connor Hellebuyck, WPG at DET ($7800): The same reason he was a top play on Monday is why he is the high-value play at keeper tonight. Hellebuyck is in great form and will most likely get the win bonus for you and stop a ton of shots from a team that just got pummeled this last weekend. You want to have a lot of exposure at this price he is an elite play.

Jimmy Howard, Det vs. WPG ($7500): Can you say contrarian pick? Look Howard was once a top goalie and can still play at a high level.  Here is a good spot to really play a unique lineup. If you stack some of the other games, consider throwing him in a few lineups, if he plays well and wins you will have a four percent owned goalie and can spend up elsewhere.

Robin Lehner, BUF @ COL ($7200): Nearly the lowest priced goalie on the slate that will most likely start we have Lehner. High shots on goal playing a young Avalanche team, who have struggled at times this season to put the puck in the net. Use caution but if you need salary you could do worse.
