Supernatural season 13 midseason finale synopsis: The Bad Place
What’s coming for Sam and Dean Winchester in the Supernatural midseason finale? Here’s the official Supernatural season 13, episode 9 synopsis.
The Supernatural midseason finale is Thursday, and judging by The CW‘s official synopsis for the episode, Sam and Dean Winchester’s biggest problem may be much closer to home.
Season 13, episode 9 is called “The Bad Place,” and it’s not hard to guess where specifically that’s referring to. The episode includes Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) finally tracking down their Supernatural season 13 sidekick Jack (Alexander Calvert), after several episodes of chasing him and making some ill-advised decisions to locate him.
But when they do come across him, Jack goes several steps too far, like many other TV characters who mean well but start messing with forces far beyond their control. And his mistake could be a whopper.
See, Jack believes that he’ll make everything up to Sam and Dean by rescuing their beloved mom Mary, who started Supernatural season 13 trapped in a very nasty place. But as they say, the road to Hell is paved with good intentions, and his powers wind up making everything worse. Could our favorite demon hunters end up joining their mother in “the bad place” by the end of the episode? That would be one heck of an ending for the Supernatural midseason finale!
Here’s how The CW officially describes the episode:
"Jack, desperate to prove to Sam and Dean that he is good and that he can control his powers, enlists the help of a dreamcatcher named Kaia to help him find Mary Winchester and save her from the alternate universe. However, when plans go awry, the Winchester brothers are the ones who need saving."
