There are so many great games going on in the NFL in Week 14. One game you will not want to miss on Sunday afternoon in the one between the Seattle Seahawks (8-4) and the Jacksonville Jaguars (8-4). Kickoff from EverBank Field in Jacksonville will be at 4:25 p.m. ET on Dec. 10.
Seattle enters play at 8-4 on the year and in second place in the NFC West. The Seahawks are a game back of the Los Angeles Rams (9-3) for the division lead. If the season ended after Week 13, the Seahawks would be the No. 5 seed in the NFC playoff picture.
Though far from a complete team, the Seahawks are getting an MVP level season out of star quarterback Russell Wilson. He has been absolutely unbelievable of late. How he is evading all of that pressure behind a terrible Seattle offensive line is beyond head-scratching.
Jacksonville enters play at 8-4 on the year and in second place in the AFC South. The Jaguars have the same record as the Tennessee Titans (8-4), but lost to their division rival at home back in Week 2. These two certain playoff teams coming out of the AFC South will meet once again in Nashville on New Year’s Eve.
The Jaguars have won with arguably the best defense in football. This unit has All-Pros abound with newcomer defensive end Calais Campbell probably in line to win Defensive Player of the Year. Jalen Ramsey is an emerging superstar at cornerback. If the Jaguars had a better quarterback over Blake Bortles, this team could win the Super Bowl. At least their almost certainly playoff bound for the first time in a decade.
