The Army-Navy game played annually is one of the biggest events of the college football year, so we take a look at the best College GameDay signs from it.

Plenty of traditions in college football are able to change the way you feel about the game. Whether it’s something that the fans do, something that the players and coaches participate in, or even just an annual rivalry game, some things make the game feel even bigger and more important. The most shining example of this, however, is the Army-Navy game that’s played at the end of every college football regular season. And obviously, the College GameDay episode beforehand is always great.

In recent years, we’ve seen the Navy Midshipmen really be the superior of the two programs. However, the tides may be shifting in a big way nowadays. The Midshipmen finished the regular season with a record of just 6-5. Meanwhile, the Army Black Knights have enjoyed a phenomenal campaign as they enter this matchup with a record of 8-3.

With that said, one of the most fun things about this rivalry matchup is just simply that these two teams play so similarly to one another. Both run non-traditional offenses, relying heavily on the option. As such, it’s a football game that you rarely see the likes of anywhere else in the country throughout a given season.

But really, what makes things so special is the fans. The students and future servicemen and women that show up to support are always on fire. That’s why the College GameDay episode is so great. And with that, let’s see what noise they brought in 2017, looking at the best College GameDay signs from Army-Navy:
