Week 14 of the NFL season is here. In most fantasy football leagues that means the playoffs are only a week away!

The NFL has entered Week 14. A week ago, we saw some interesting football as teams gear up for the playoff push. The elite teams are separating themselves while the rest of the league are starting to take a longer look at those young players on their roster.

A week ago the biggest story line was the benching of New York Giants’ quarterback Eli Manning. With Ben McAdoo out as the coach, Manning will be under center for the Giants Week 14 matcu against the Cowboys.

The Eagles took a step back against the Seahawks while the Patriots and Vikings kept themselves atop their respective conference. Week 14 again has some pivotal matchups for the NFL and fantasy owners.

Philadelphia and the Rams meet in what could be a potential playoff preview. Meanwhile the Patriots play the Dolphins on Monday night but will be without one of their top play makers. Rob Gronkowski has been suspended for his dirty hit on Bills’ rookie corner Tre White. The Steelers will also be without a big play maker as rookie receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster will be suspended for the game against the Ravens on Sunday night.

With the Saints and Falcons battling Thursday, the fantasy community will have big decisions to make. Those players have been excluded from this article. Here are the ten best matchups to attack from the remaining 15 games of NFL’s Week 14 slate.

10. Eli Manning, QB, New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys

The New York Giants are a mess. This is one of the worst seasons in franchise history, and the cherry on top of it all is the fact that it costs their quarterback a shot at a league record. Quarterback Eli Manning was benched a week ago in favor of Geno Smith. This week he gets his starting spot back and it comes at a great time for the two time Super Bowl champion.

The Giants welcome their bitter rival Dallas Cowboys to the Meadowlands this Sunday. The first time in a long time that a Giants-Cowboys matchup will not be played in prime time.

Dallas comes in on a long week after an impressive win on Thursday night against the Washington Redskins. Even after that performance, Dallas’ defense is reeling. Over the past four weeks only three teams have given up more passing yards than the Cowboys. They rank fifth in points allowed to opposing quarterbacks over the span.

Manning has had success in his career against Dallas. A season ago Manning led the Giants to two wins over a dominant Cowboys team. Earlier this year his offense struggled against Dallas. This feels like a possible revenge game for the benched Manning. He makes a good streaming option the week prior to the playoffs to hopefully grab you a spot or secure your seeding in the playoffs.
