Carson Wentz is out for the foreseeable future and Nick Foles is the next man up. Here are three reasons they can still win.

Panic has ensued in Philadelphia. In a back and forth matchup between two of the best teams in the NFC, one of the NFL’s brightest stars has gone down. Carson Wentz took a nasty shot to the knee early in the fourth quarter. He was able to walk off the field under his own power but the injury did not look good and reports confirmed that. Wentz will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL in his left knee.

It’s a damn shame, especially considering Wentz has played like an MVP frontrunner the entire season. He had four touchdowns on the day before the injury and could now be out for the foreseeable future. That leaves backup quarterback Nick Folk as the next man up for the No. 1 seed in the NFC.

Eagles fans cringe hearing that name but it’s what they’ve got to work with for now. The Eagles can’t make a trade and there’s no free agent quarterback who could come in and make a difference. Foles has had his struggles this year but there has to be some optimism we can find and there is.

As much as fans might not think, the Eagles can still win with Foles under center and here are three reasons why.
