High Value PG

Cory Joseph, IND vs DEN ($3,700): Only take Joseph if Darren Collison is ruled out of Sunday’s game. Collison is nursing a knee injury, which caused him to sit in the fourth against the Cavaliers. If he doesn’t play on Sunday, Joseph will be the starter and see his usage rate go way up. For a guy who only needs 17.1 fantasy points to his value, that should be easy given the Pacers offense and Joseph’s ability to put up numbers in all categories. He’s had back-to-back 20+ fantasy point games. *****

Yogi Ferrell, DAL at MIN ($3,800): Ferrell will draw the start in place of Dennis Smith Jr. once again. While he hasn’t been great this year, hitting a dud rating in 24 percent of his contests, playing 30+ minutes gives him the opportunity to put up big numbers. The Timberwolves are 14th against the position in their last 15, but their overall defense is 28th in the league. Given his low salary and likely high usage rate, he has a big chance to be at 25+ fantasy points. *****

Terry Rozier, BOS at DET ($4,100): Rozier has been over 25 fantasy points in back-to-back games. He’s been inconsistent throughout the season, but he’s averaging 23.4 minutes-per-game, so the opportunity is typically there for him to put up numbers. He managed just five fantasy points in 19 minutes against the Pistons on Nov. 27. He’s a risky player, but has the ability put up 30+ fantasy points given his scoring, rebounding, and defensive ability. ***
