NFL roundup: Aaron Rodgers to return to the Packers on Sunday

Aaron Rodgers will return to the Green Bay Packers this Sunday, as his team will take on the Carolina Panthers in NFL Week 15 action on the road.
In Week 15 of the 2017 NFL season, the Green Bay Packers will have a familiar face under center. Aaron Rodgers broke his collarbone during his sixth start of the season against the Minnesota Vikings and has not played a down since. He was medically cleared on Tuesday, and with his team sitting at 7-6, he might just have some of that Rodgers Magic left in him to make a run toward a Wild Card.
Staying with injured quarterbacks who are returning this weekend, it looks like the Buffalo Bills will have their starter back under center on Sunday. Tyrod Taylor missed last weekend’s blizzard game against the Indianapolis Colts with a knee injury, but he was a full participant in practice Wednesday. The Bills were able to beat the Colts without him, and are in line to make a run toward a Wild Card in the AFC if they can finish the year out strong.
Zach Ertz missed the Eagles Week 14 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams, though Trey Burton and Brent Celek played well in his absence. On Wednesday, Ertz cleared concussion protocol, and is in line to return to the team this weekend. He will certainly be needed, as star quarterback Carson Wentz is done for the season and Nick Foles needs all of his weapons ready to go in his first start of the season.
In other news surrounding the Philadelphia Eagles, we may finally get to see Sidney Jones in action this weekend. Jones practiced for the first time since tearing his Achilles during his Pro Day, an injury that saw him fall out of the first round. Jones was one of the best cornerbacks in the Pac-12 during his time with the Washington Huskies and could rejoin the team in time for its final few regular season games.

On Thursday night, the Indianapolis Colts will play host to the Denver Broncos. Both of these teams are well out of the playoff picture and have a ton of question marks heading into next season. Jacoby Brissett has played well in place of the injured Andrew Luck, but the Broncos looked much better last weekend against the New York Jets and could pull off the road upset in this one.
