In an AFC West battle on Saturday night, the Los Angeles Chargers will look to keep their hot streak going against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Los Angeles Chargers got off to an 0-4 start to the 2017 NFL season, and some believed new head coach Anthony Lynn may  have been over his head. However, the Bolts have won seven of their last nine games, and could become the first team since 1992 to make the playoffs after starting 0-4. That team just happens to be the San Diego Chargers, so this organization knows a little bit about defying the odds after starting out slow.

On the other side of the coin, the Kansas City Chiefs were the last remaining undefeated team in the NFL  this season, as they raced out to a 5-0 start. However, they have won only two games since, and many wrote them off for dead before they beat the Oakland Raiders last weekend. The Chiefs got out to a 26-0 lead over the Raiders entering the fourth quarter, and held on for a 26-15 win in front of their home fans.

Those fans will get a chance to see their team beat another AFC West team on Saturday night, but they may find it a bit harder against the red-hot Chargers. The Chiefs have been terrible on defense this season, and going up against Rivers at this point in the season is going to be a tough matchup. Veteran Darrelle Revis filled in nicely for the suspended Marcus Peters last weekend, but the Chiefs will have both cornerbacks available against the Bolts on Saturday night.

Odds

Line: Even

Over/Under: 46.0

The Chargers and Chiefs are pretty even in this one, and the line represents that fact by the listing as even. The over/under is set at 46.0, and with these two offenses, that number could wind up being too little. This line will change a lot throughout the week, so head on over to OddsShark.com for any changes up until kickoff.

The Chargers move into first place in the AFC West on Saturday night, as they are able to take care of the Chiefs on the road. The Bolts are one of the hottest teams in the league right now, and outside of a good game played against the Oakland Raiders last weekend, this Chiefs team is lost. Philip Rivers makes enough plays to pull away late, as the Chargers move to 8-6 on the season.

Final Score: Chargers 21, Chiefs 20
