A look at the bold predictions for Sunday’s WWE Clash of Champions pay-per-view.

On Sunday night, the WWE Clash of Champions pay-per-view will take place. It’s exclusive to SmackDown Live and the final PPV of 2017. It will lead into 2018’s Royal Rumble, which combines both WWE brands.

Clash of Champions will see six matches take place, with one on the Kickoff Show. It’s headlined by AJ Styles vs. Jinder Mahal for the WWE Championship and three other title bouts. Will anything change hands?

At nearly every WWE PPV, things don’t go the way fans expect. From matches that dazzle to others that flop, it can provide a few surprises, no matter how crazy they may be. How will this be the case on Sunday night?

Bludgeon Brothers destroy Breezango in minutes

On a recent episode of SmackDown Live, the Bludgeon Brothers debuted. Technically not a new arrival, however, as it was a repackaged Erick Rowan and Luke Harper, sans their first names. So, the former Wyatt Family members go under Rowan and Harper, respectively. It continued WWE’s strange dislike of first names.

As for Clash of Champions, this will be an opportunity for Harper and Rowan to establish themselves on a pay-per-view. Even against the popular Breezango, it should lead to a victory for this monstrous duo.

However, instead of your standard 10-minute tag match, what if WWE decides to make a new team strong? Not just with a win, but a convincing victory that makes Harper and Rowan look feared. This rarely happens anymore, as WWE books matches to play out, rather than a one-sided victory (except the old squash matches from the start of the brand split).

If the Bludgeon Brothers win within three minutes, they will make their mark in the Tag Team division and have momentum, before taking on the SmackDown Tag Team Champions. It’s bold because this doesn’t tend to happen against worthy opponents, so will WWE pull the trigger?
