Former NBA star Charlie Villanueva was the victim of a break-in and the thefts made off with his appliances, including his toilet.

Charlie Villanueva isn’t on a roster with an NBA team this season, but he is still residing in Dallas after a stint with the Mavericks. And during the holiday season he found himself in an unenviable situation, without a toilet.

Villaneuva posted on Twitter that he was the victim of a burglary, losing all his appliances during the robbery, including his toilet.

Like seriously, who steals a toilet? Is there a big black market for used toilets? Can you really hustle selling these on the street? Are people looking to scoop up the latest innovation in bowel movement receptacles on Craigslist?

While having your toilet stolen undeniably sucks, and presents some issues while you wait for Home Depot to open the next day to buy a replacement and have it installed, it is not worse than having a random stranger walk into your house, lock themselves in the bathroom and s**t all over your house. Just ask former UFC fighter Urijah Faber.

And apparently stolen toilets isn’t high on the Dallas Police Department’s priority list. Villanueva’s celebrity status didn’t even get him a decent response time and he was waiting for hours to have the police department come fill out a report. FWIW, the Sacramento PD seemed to have a solid response time to Faber’s predicament.

As befuddled as you might be that someone broke into another person’s house to steal their used toilet, Villanueva is probably still trying to comprehend the heist.

The city of Pittsburgh rallied around wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster when his bicycle was stolen and it was eventually returned by a fan who “bought it off the street” to claim the offered reward of two tickets.

Now is the time for Mavericks fans to rally around Villanueva and return his toilet. Owner Mark Cuban just sang Dallas’ praises, don’t let him down.
