3. Auburn Tigers

I may be the only person that’s going to ride this train, but I think the Auburn Tigers could get the best of the Browns. Auburn has a habit of showing up in big games, and this definitely qualifies. Gus Malzhan, like Urban Meyer, is one of the best offensive minds in football, and I’m sure could cook up a serviceable game plan.

In previous years, Auburn would not be on this list because of their quarterbacks. Now they have an actual pocket passer in Jarrett Stidham. The use of RPO’s have become all the rage in the NFL, and the Tigers run them on essentially every play. Hypothetically speaking, if everyone was healthy Auburn has Kerryon Johnson and Kamryn Pettway in the backfield who would be tough for anyone to stop.

As far as Auburn’s defense goes, their front four is already an NFL-caliber one. They effectively shut down two of the best running attacks in Georgia and Alabama, and they held the Clemson Tigers to their worst offensive performance of the season.

The Browns struggle to run the ball, and the Auburn defensive line won’t make it any easier. The Browns could actually win this game if they were to somehow slow down Auburn’s offense, but I don’t see that actually happening seeing as they don’t really have the speed on defense.
