The Carolina Panthers will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday afternoon in Week 16. Here is how to watch this NFC South rivalry game online.

It will be Week 16 of the 2017 NFL regular season this weekend. One of the games that will be going on Sunday afternoon will feature a pair of bitter NFC South rivals in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-10) and the Carolina Panthers (10-4). Kickoff from Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte will be at 1:00 p.m. ET on Dec. 24.

Tampa Bay enters play at 4-10 and in last place in the NFC South. Obviously, the Buccaneers have been eliminated from playoff contention in the NFC for the 10th straight season. Tampa Bay has not won the last eight games that quarterback Jameis Winston has started for them.

While he did play very well on Monday Night Football last week, Winston’s Buccaneers still lost to the Atlanta Falcons by a field goal. Tampa Bay head coach Dirk Koetter could be on the hot seat and out of a job in a matter of weeks after only being head coach for two seasons.

Carolina enters play at 10-4 on the year and in second place in the NFC South. The Panthers would be the No. 5 seed in the NFC playoff picture if the season ended after Week 15. While Carolina has the same 10-4 record as the New Orleans Saints, New Orleans completed the season sweep of Carolina only a few weeks ago.

Regardless, Carolina looks to be a playoff team in the NFC barring anything ridiculous happening. The Panthers’ defense is fantastic and the running game has improved in the last few weeks. It seems that quarterback Cam Newton has finally understood that his team is at its best when he has a reliable running game to lean on. He outplayed Aaron Rodgers to beat the Green Bay Packers last week.
