High Value C

Steven Adams, OKC vs HOU ($6,600): No Clint Capela would certainly make things easier on Adams. He’s been at value in his last two and remains a strong option given his ability to rebound and score in the paint. He gets a lot of easy points off putbucks and Westbrook passes. Against a Rockets team that stays small almost exclusively, Adams’ size and strength in the paint could be a big weapon. He’s a reliable option at center if you’re not willing to risk the cash on some of the high salary guys. ***

Enes Kanter, NY vs PHI ($6,500): Kanter posted a season-high 56.7 fantasy points in 30 minutes against the Pistons. When he plays, he’s a handful in the paint and on the boards. The Sixers typically play one big at all times, which should mean good minutes for Kanter. However, they play with a lot of pace, which is what truly troubles the New York big man. He’s a risk just based on his playing time being uncertain. **

Julius Randle, LAL vs MIN ($5,900): Randle’s minutes have fluctuated all season. He’s a good scoring and rebounding option who should see plenty of minutes against the Timberwolves. Minnesota ranks last against the position in their last 15 games. I expect the Lakers to give him heavy minutes in this one as they take advantage of Karl-Anthony Towns’ defense with Randle’s offensive abilities. He’s certainly a stronger option than Andrew Bogut, who will draw the start for the Lakers. ***
