High Value PG

Jamal Murray, DEN at MIN ($6,100): Murray is coming off back-to-back 30+ fantasy point games against the Warriors and Jazz. The Timberwolves are seventh against the position in their last 15 games, but their overall defense ranks 25th in the league. Murray not only has a hot hand from the field right now, but he gets it done in the other two offensive categories. The Nuggets are on a back-to-back and on the road, where they’ve struggled all season, which is a bit concerning. Murray is averaging 29.8 fantasy points in five back-to-back games. He should be around value in this one. ***

J.J. Barea, DAL at IND ($5,200): Barea is as consistent as come, hitting value in 74 percent of games this season. He had 27.6 fantasy points against the Raptors on Tuesday. Both teams are on a back-to-back, although the Pacers should be more rested as they were on the wrong side of a blowout. The Pacers are 22nd against the position in their last 15 games. Barea should get his usual points and assists in this one, hitting value (22.2 fantasy points) once again. ***

Rajon Rondo, NO vs BKN ($5,500): Rondo has been very disappointing as of late, missing value in four of his last five. He’s still starting alongside Jrue Holiday in the backcourt, but his usage has dropped to 21.4 percent in their last five games. If he’s going to bounce back and be that 35+ fantasy point player that he was to start the month, Wednesday would be a good time to do so. The Nets are 29th against the position in their last 15 games and are on a back-to-back. He’s a risk, but the potential is there for him to have a big night. **
