With playoff hopes still on the line, the Los Angeles Chargers will play host to division rival Oakland this Sunday inside the StubHub Center.

The Los Angeles Chargers looked to be heading towards another miserable season earlier in the year, as they got off to an 0-4 start. However, they have been much better in recent weeks, and with one game left on their schedule, they actually have a shot at making the AFC Playoffs. They will have to beat their division rival Oakland on Sunday to keep those hopes alive, and they are getting Oakland at the right time.

Oakland finished the 2016 campaign with a 12-4 record, and many believed they would take the next step in 2017. However, quarterback Derek Carr has not been the same player he was last season, and the defense is bad once again. They are in danger of losing ten games if they fall to the Chargers on Sunday, which would be one of the more surprising records of any team in the NFL this season.

This matchup can be seen broadcasted locally on CBS this Sunday inside the StubHub Center in Carson, California. For those who are subscribers, the game will be featured out-of-market on DirecTV’s NFL Sunday Ticket. Fans can also stream the game on the NFL Sunday Ticket app, as well as FuboTV.

Kickoff begins at 4:25pm ET, and the Raiders would like nothing more than to ruin the Chargers chance at a spot in the playoffs. Oakland played pretty well against a Philadelphia Eagles team missing Carson Wentz this past Monday, but have been one of the more inconsistent teams in the NFL all season long.

The Chargers have already beaten the Raiders once this season, as they went into the Oakland Coliseum and pulled off a 17-16 victory. They have been one of the hottest teams in the league over the past 11 weeks, and can pull off an improbable playoff run if they can win, and get help on Sunday. Oakland has been bad all season long, so there is no real reason to think the Bolts cannot get it done at home in Week 17.
