The Michigan Wolverines off against the South Carolina Gamecocks in the 2017 Outback Bowl on Monday, Jan 1 and here’s how you can watch on TV and online.
The Michigan Wolverines (8-4) take on the South Carolina Gamecocks (8-4) at the 2017 Alamo Bowl. Michigan has been holding teams to 18.3 points per game this season, while the Gamecocks are allowing 20.8 points per game.
Though both teams are sitting on 8-4 records, South Carolina is considered the underdog in this New Year’s Day matchup, but don’t expect to see them play like underdogs. While Gamecocks quarterback Jake Bentley last four games have been rough, with more interceptions than touchdowns, but expect the defense to come to his aid. South Carolina will have Bryan McClendon at offensive coordinator for the game after canning Kurt Roper. This could make a world of difference for the team as they play for their new OC and their old one.
Jim Harbaugh’s Wolverines have been playing well under quarterback Brandon Peters, which makes sense given that Harbaugh is a genius when it comes to developing quarterbacks.
With both teams sporting 8-4 records, not to mention Jim Harbaugh on the sidelines for Michigan, the 2017 Outback Bowl is sure to come down to an exciting finish as both teams fight to come away with a big victory.
