Must Read: Alabama vs. Georgia Preview

It’s a battle between two SEC foes that many expected in the SEC Championship Game. Georgia got there but they beat Auburn, not Alabama, who lost to their in-state rivals in the Iron Bowl. Now, the two teams are finally meeting in Atlanta, but it’s with much more than an SEC title on the line, this one is for the national championship.

Both of these programs are stacked from top to bottom with talent and feature the most dynamic running games. It’s going to be up to the defensive fronts to try and put a stop to the talented running backs on both sides of the ball.

It’s also a battle between student and teacher. Kirby Smart has followed Nick Saban just about everywhere through his coaching career and now the two men will stand on opposite sidelines trying to coach their team to a National Championship.

With a title on the line and future recruiting also playing a factor, this is a game that could leave a huge impact on the future of the SEC. The dominance of the conference has once again paid off and now it is guaranteed to have another champion when it is all said and done.
