Buffalo Bills call out the Jacksonville Jaguars for fake news

While they do not play until this Sunday, the tensions between the Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars spilled over to Twitter on Thursday.
The Buffalo Bills have not been to the playoffs since 1999, so you can imagine how fired up their fans are to see their team playing games in January. Their opponent in the AFC Wild Card round will be the Jacksonville Jaguars, who snatched the No. 3 seed in the conference due to their incredible defense this season. But on Thursday, it was the Bills who went on the defensive, after the Jaguars told their fans there were some unused tickets for sale.
Those tickets, the Jaguars implied, were from places like the NFL, Buffalo Bills, and players. The Bills did not take too kindly to that suggestion. The Bills Twitter account blasted back at the Jaguars, saying that their tweet was nothing but “fake news.”
Nothing like a little bit of social media magic to get the blood flowing before the biggest game in each franchise’s history in quite awhile.

Obviously, Bills Mafia will be in full effect in Jacksonville, as their fans have been waiting 18 years to see their team playing postseason football. The Bills were able to clinch their No. 6 seed in the AFC thanks to Andy Dalton and the Cincinnati Bengals beating the Baltimore Ravens, a win that was rewarded handsomely by Bills fans. Buffalo fans donated over $150,000 to Dalton’s charity, as a small sign of thanks for taking care of business on the road against the Ravens.

Getting back to the field of play, the Bills will travel to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars in the AFC Wild Card round, and they may be without star running back LeSean McCoy. McCoy was carted off the field in Week 17 and is listed as a game-time decision for the Bills in this one. The Jaguars have been led by their stellar defense and run game, but if the Bills can get to the turnover-prone Blake Bortles, they may be able to pull off the upset victory on Sunday.
