LaVar Ball keeps on running his mouth. And we keep listening. Today he made it clear he intends for all three of his sons to be Lakers in the very near future.

A video posted by Sports Illustrated on Twitter today captured LaVar Ball stating that by the year 2020 all three of his sons will be playing for the Los Angeles Lakers.

The father of Lonzo, LiAngelo, and LaMelo is clearly living his life by The Secret. He’s trying to turn his dreams into reality by talking (and talking, and talking…and talking) about their future in purple and gold.

“I don’t dream. I just make stuff happen,” Pappa Ball boasts.

So far, he’s one-for-one in willing his basketball-boys onto their hometown Lakers, so who are we to say he’s wrong?

Oldest Ball brother Lonzo is currently in the middle of a…relatively successful rookie campaign (depending on who you ask, and what stats you pay attention to most). The former number two overall pick is averaging 10.0 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 7.1 assists per game. He’s also shooting an abysmal 34.9 percent from the floor.

LiAngelo and LaMelo have recently relocated to Lithuania after ending their careers at UCLA and Chino Hills High School to turn pro. Their father doesn’t expect either to have to play overseas for very long.

The Balls could very well become another family added to the list of NBA Brothers. The odds against the chances of all three of them becoming Lakers don’t seem to deter their father from dreaming.

“We’re going to make it happen. There’s a way for it to be done,” he said.

LiAngelo’s shot at the NBA would be next for the brothers. Going on scouting reports and quotes from league GMs it doesn’t seem like it would be very difficult for the Lakers to land the middle brother on their roster…if they wanted to.

Once that’s been taken care of all that’s left is to find a way for youngest brother LaMelo to land back in Los Angeles. The third (and final?) Ball brother ranks a bit higher in scout’s eyes than LiAngelo and could be harder to land via the draft.

Maybe LaVar can talk his way up (or down) depending on where the Lakers pick lands that year. The man certainly has the gift of gab.

“All of my boys are good,” LaVar made sure to point out. Following it up with, “Two of them together, awesome.”  Finally bringing it home with, “Three of them together: unbeatable.”

Maybe they are unbeatable…during a pickup game at a Chino Hills LA Fitness. The world will have to wait and see if that translates to the NBA.
