The Golden Globe Awards Favorites based on Nominations:
It’s a year with a Steve Spielberg directed film starring Tom Hanks [Forest Gump], Meryl Streep [Adaptation], Bob Odenkirk [Better Call Saul], and Sarah Paulson [American Horror Story] in starring roles. That formidable lineup is not going to easy to top for any one movie.
Consider that Director Martin McDonagh’s Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, stars Hollywood veterans Woody Harrelson [Out of the Furnace], Abbie Cornish [Limitless], Frances McDormand [Almost Famous], Sam Rockwell [Confessions of a Dangerous Mind].
Then imagine the top favorite, Director Guillermo del Toro’sThe Shape of Water stars Richard Jenkins [Burn After Reading], Sally Hawkins [Blue Jasmine] and Octavia Spencer [Hidden Figures] and the stage is set for a nail biter of a Golden Globes.
