No, O.J. Simpson is not at the Bills game in Jacksonville
By Josh Hill
It’s been almost two decades since the Buffalo Bills were in the playoffs — so long that O.J. Simpson feels comfortable going in daylight again.
Last time the Buffalo Bills were in the playoffs, we had just turned the calendar on a new century. Nearly two decades later and not only is the team good again but enough time has passed that O.J. Simpson isn’t afraid to come out in daylight and show his face in large crowds.
Bills Mafia has been lit all week, ever since the team clinched its first playoff berth since 1999. It took a miracle finish in Baltimore — where Andy Dalton daggered the Ravens on a fourth-down touchdown pass — for the Bills to punch their ticket. It was thrilling and perhaps the most fitting and dramatic way for Buffalo to make its return to the playoffs.
Naturally, Bills Mafia made the trek down to Jacksonville for the first postseason tailgate in almost twenty years. That alone is an insane thing to consider, and the only thing crazier would be if O.J. Simpson showed up or something.
Well, O.J. Simpson indeed showed up along Bills Mafia.
In an effort to quell the spread of “fake news”, let’s set the record straight. As stunning as it would be if Simpson had shown up at the Bills Mafia tailgate in Jacksonville, he’s not there. Simpson is actually at a bar in Las Vegas, which makes more sense when considering he’s essentially made Las Vegas his home base since getting out of prison.

It would have been profound if the juice had busted loose in Duvall County for Sunday’s Wild Card game. Rather than making it seem like he’s testing the waters for more public appearances, O.J. is well within his element of Las Vegas and the folks of Duvall County can hang onto that peace of mind.
