Yes, Danica Patrick and Aaron Rodgers are an item

Danica Patrick’s career plans are still up in the air for this year, but her love life remains in the fast lane.

Say this about Danica Patrick: when she finds herself single, she doesn’t stay that way for long. The retiring racer confirmed today in an interview with the AP that she and Green Bay Packers superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers are indeed a thing.

She didn’t really leave much doubt about it, either.

"“Yes, Aaron and I are dating.”"

it’s a quick rebound for Patrick, who dated fellow NASCAR driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. for just over five years following her divorce from husband Paul Edward Hospenthal in 2012. She revealed last month that she and Stenhouse had called it quits on their relationship following speculation after Stenhouse attended the NASCAR awards without her.

Rodgers, meanwhile, ended a high profile dating relationship of his own last year when he and actress Olivia Munn broke up after three years together. The two-time NFL MVP would probably like to put 2017 behind him for other reasons, as he suffered through a broken collarbone that forced him to miss more than half the season, and his Packers failed to make the playoffs without him.

Next: Danica Patrick Daytona 500 announcement coming soon?

Assuming they’re still a couple come the fall, Rodgers and the Pack will have at least one more big fan behind them —an honorary Cheesehead, if you will.

"“I told him a long time ago I’d always root for him as a player.“Now I am probably going to cheer for the whole team. Take out the word ‘probably.’ Now I’m going to cheer for the whole team.”"

The question now is if Rodgers will be on hand for Patrick’s farewell to the Daytona 500, provided she finds a ride by next month. If the QB is in attendance, at least now there will be no doubt who he’ll be pulling for in the Great American Race.
