Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Can you imagine Aubameyang in Arsenal red? Better start trying, because according to recent reports, this could actually come to fruition. Pace, strength and shooting ability, Aubameyang has it all. He’s a natural athlete and a tremendous soccer player that could provide a huge boost for a depleted Arsenal team. His goalscoring ability is well known and pairing him with a talented on-ball striker like Lacazette could result in incredible attacking soccer. That is, if Wenger is smart enough to abandon having three at the top. We all know how stuck in his ways Wenger has been recently.

This is a move for the present, however, as Aubameyang is the oldest player on this list at 28. He’s an established striker and his track record is well documented. He’s had a few disciplinary issues in recent memory, but his on-field productions speaks for itself. The Gabon international is perennially in the running for African Footballer of the Year, but lost out to Mohamed Salah this year.

His pace will terrify the Premier League as very few center-backs will be able to keep up with him. Defenses will have to find new ways to deal with him and he will always be a threat to score. His 21 goals in 23 appearances this season should be enough evidence of how deadly he is. Arsenal would welcome his type of offensive production, especially if they lose Sanchez during January. While not a move for the future per say, Aubameyang will improve the squad immediately should the club make the move.
