FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – January 24, 2018
High Salary PG
Chris Paul, HOU at DAL ($10,100): Paul missed value against the Heat, posting 38.2 fantasy points. His scoring and assist numbers were down, but I would not count on that happening against the Mavericks. Dallas ranks 28th against the position in their last 15 games. Paul needs 42.9 fantasy points to hit value on Wednesday. Given the matchup and his recent play, that should be no issue for the Rockets point guard. ****
Kemba Walker, CHA vs NO ($8,400): The Pelicans are 22nd against the position in their last 15 games. Walker has been over value in four straight contests. He seems motivated thanks to the return of Steve Clifford and those trade rumors that won’t go away just yet. Walker is putting up strong scoring and assist numbers, to go along with a handful of rebounds and a couple of defensive play. Walker should have no issue getting points and assists in this one given the matchup. *****
Kyle Lowry, TOR at ATL ($7,900): Lowry is coming off a 53.5 fantasy point effort against the Timberwolves on Saturday. The Raptors have had a couple of days off and should be well rested against a bad Atlanta Hawks squad. Lowry is averaging 31.6 fantasy points in 28 minutes in two games against the Hawks this season. That number would put him slightly under value, but as long as he plays 30+ minutes, he’ll be over value. The Hawks will likely put up a good fight, meaning Lowry’s minutes and production will be up. *****
