3. Cardiff vs. Manchester City

The last game of the fourth round sees runaway Premier League leaders Manchester City travel to Wales to face off against Cardiff. On paper there’s only one result here but Cardiff have been doing well in the Championship this season.

After a strong start to their Championship campaign the Welsh side faltered a little but now they’ve gone four games unbeaten while playing some attractive soccer. Manchester City proved with their dispatching of Bristol City in the Carabao Cup that they aren’t going to be embarrassed by a lower league side.

However, Bristol City showed weaknesses in Pep Guardiola’s side and demonstrated that by pressuring the Light Blues it’s possible to get goals. Neil Warnock needs to have his team well-drilled to stop the likes of Sergio Aguero and Kevin De Bruyne and if his side can do that then they might stand a chance.

Either way this could be a cracking game with two positive sides going at it for 90 minutes. Manchester City will also need to keep an eye out on Cardiff goal threat Callum Paterson, who despite being a defender by trade has a knack for scoring.
