Here are five things that you may have missed during the NBA week.
Aside from maybe the last few weeks — when teams are duking it out for the last few playoff spots — this week may be the most entertaining week in the NBA. Whether it’s playing their heart out and hoping for a move at the upcoming trade deadline or venting their frustrations at not making the All-Star Game, NBA players are at their peak during this week. Paul George and Andre Drummond recently took their All-Star Game snub to heart and absolutely punished the opposing teams because of it. It almost makes you feel bad for the team they’re playing the night of or after All-Star Game voting goes public.
Elsewhere, we’re full steam ahead to the NBA trade deadline. Rumors are swirling once again surrounding some of the NBA’s biggest names such as Kemba Walker and DeAndre Jordan. Will there be a blockbuster trade made before the trade deadline? Nobody knows, but all signs are pointing towards yes. The Cavs sure hope so. Cleveland looks to bring in another star after the team gave up 148 points to Oklahoma City and held a meeting to question the legitimacy of Kevin Love’s sickness. Yikes. Could this be the year LeBron James finally fails to pull a team together?
A lot of questions will surround the NBA in coming weeks involving both players and coaches. We’ve already seen multiple coaching changes this season and a few others are on the hot seat. The trade deadline is set to be one of the most active in recent years. However, that’s the future. For now, we’ll analyze trade rumors and go off what we have to work with for this week. Without further adieu, here are five things you may have missed this week in the NBA.
