Who does Shinsuke Nakamura face at WWE WrestleMania 34?

Shinsuke Nakamura won the 2018 Men’s WWE Royal Rumble Match on Sunday evening in Philadelphia. Who will he meet at WrestleMania 34?
The road to WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans began on Sunday night as the 31st annual Royal Rumble event took center stage in Philadelphia.
As has been the case since 1993, the winner of the Royal Rumble is guaranteed a championship match at WrestleMania and we now know that Shinsuke Nakamura is on his way to The Big Easy for a title opportunity after outlasting 29 others to win the 2018 Royal Rumble Match after tossing Roman Reigns to close things out.
Things seemed pretty straightforward when the WWE Universe woke up on Sunday morning as it was expected that the Rumble winner would go on to face his brand’s champion at WrestleMania 34. However, WWE announced on Sunday that the winner would be allowed to choose the champion of his choice, either the WWE Champion or the WWE Universal Champion, to battle on the grandest stage of them all.
With AJ Styles defeating both Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn to open the show, it looks as if he’ll be heading into WrestleMania 34 as WWE Champion. SmackDown Live does have one pay-per-view left before New Orleans with WWE Fastlane set for Sunday, March 11.
As for the WWE Universal Championship, that actually doesn’t even seem to matter anymore. The Triple Threat Match featuring Brock Lesnar, Braun Strowman and Kane, which actually went on after the Royal Rumble Match, didn’t factor into Shinsuke Nakamura’s decision. Before he even left the ring, Renee Young interviewed him and what the WWE Universe got was simply had two words: AJ STYLES!!!
Looks like we’re all set for the dream match we’ve been waiting for since these two superstars stepped foot in WWE. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. AJ Styles at WrestleMania. What a time to be alive.
