Now that we know who will be playing in Super Bowl LII, can you watch the game on your phone?

The matchup for Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis is now set, as the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles will have a de facto rematch of Super Bowl XXXIX. Nearly two full weeks of analysis, dissection and hot takes from all angles is coming, and the Patriots are the early and obvious fairly decisive favorite.

With all the platforms available to view content these days, via various devices, the worldwide audience that comes with the Super Bowl will be looking for ways to watch the game wherever they are located and with whatever device they may have available at that time. So if a television, a desktop computer/laptop or a tablet is not an option, or at least isn’t the most convenient option available, will you be able to watch Super Bowl LII on your phone?

The answer, as could be expected, is yes. The top two options are the NBC Sports app, and NFL Mobile via Verizon if you are a Verizon customer. In the United States, the Yahoo! Sports app looks like it will be an option as well.

Kickoff is set for around 6:30 p.m. ET (5:30 p.m. locally at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday, Feb. 4), so there’s time to consider plans and get the app you need to watch Super Bowl LII on a phone. Most importantly, the NBC Sports and Yahoo! Sports apps are free and don’t require being a customer of a specific cell phone carrier to get access.
