National Signing Day 2018: Date, TV schedule of announcements, predictions
Here is when the top uncommitted college football recruits will be making their announcements on National Signing Day and how you can watch on TV.
Some of the luster for National Signing Day has gone away due to the early signing period in December. For the first time, high school recruits were able to sign with the college of their choice and put an end to the drama that is recruiting season.
For others, they still had official visits to take and things to weigh, such as coaching changes as the schools they were interested in and vice versa. For them, they will break the silence on Wednesday and ESPN will be there for all of it as the network has 10 hours of coverage planned for all the announcements, interviews with the recruits as well as several coaches across the country.
The coverage will take place on ESPNU before shifting over to ESPN2 in the afternoon. Additional coverage can be found on the SEC Network, Longhorn Network and ESPN.com for all the class rankings and fallout.

It’ll be a big morning for the American Heritage trio of recruits. The two top cornerbacks on the board represent the top uncommitted recruits in the nation.
Nicholas Petit-Frere is a name to watch as the top offensive lineman on the board and a handful of the nation’s elite programs after him.
Next: National Signing Day: Predictions for top 25 uncommitted recruits
The top uncommitted quarterback, Tanner McKee, is a unique recruit in that he won’t play for two years as he will embark on a Mormon mission. He’s so good that schools are willing to wait until 2020 for him to compete for a spot.
As far as team storylines are concerned, can Alabama get enough commitments on Wednesday to move up to the top spot and continue their run of having the top class? It’s unlikely they’ll catch up to Georgia or Ohio State who has jockeyed back and forth for the top spot but look for the Crimson Tide to finish strong, along with USC who figures to have another stellar signing day.
These guys won’t be the only ones making their commitment on National Signing Day. Rather they are the only ones that will be making their commitment on the ESPN family of networks. Rivals has a list of the other recruits that will make their college choice public.
