Jon Moss awards Tottenham another dubious penalty
After awarding a first controversial penalty in the 86th minute for what looked like a Harry Kane dive, Moss gave another, even more controversial penalty, in the fifth minute of stoppage time.
Liverpool had taken the lead in dramatic fashion in the first minute of extra time thanks to a superb Mohamed Salah goal. Spurs sent all their players up in a desperate quest to earn a point.

As a loose ball heads to Erik Lamela, Virgil van Dijk closes in and attempts to clear the ball, but realizes that Lamela is attempting to protect the ball and pulls out of the tackle/clearance at the last moment. There’s limited contact but as is often the case in these situations, the forward makes a meal out of it and dives to the ground, cowboy-shot-in-spagghetti-western-style.
Moss pointed to the spot once again, leaving the referees in as intense a spotlight as they’ve been in all season.
