2018 NBA Mock Draft: Mohamed Bamba could be the Suns’ last building block

The Nuggets are trying to build a roster that makes a ton of sense — smart players at every position, a high-wire act positionally that can create destructive mismatches. Robinson isn’t exactly a classic Nugget, but at some point a unique dimension is necessary to improve your team.
Mason Plumlee is not cutting it as the Nuggets other big opposite Nikola Jokic. He doesn’t give you what you want Jokic’s partner to bring. Ideally, that backup and occasional frontcourt partner can protect the rim and finish plays that Jokic sets up. Robinson is that guy.
The would-be freshman, who is taking the season off to prepare for the draft, is a protoypical modern big man. Equal parts athletic and smooth, Robinson looks like a solid player.
We don’t know how much Robinson will lose missing the season, but Denver can afford to reach high in what is hopefully their last high draft pick for a while.
