College Football: 2018 spring game schedule
Now that National Signing Day has passed, the next day on the college football calendar is the spring game schedule, which is right here.
The biggest day in college football recruiting has come and gone with Georgia running away with the nation’s top class, ending Alabama’s streak of seven straight years with the top class. Ohio State finished just behind Georgia, with Texas, Penn State and Clemson rounding out the top five. Alabama finished ninth, but don’t feel too bad for the reigning national champions just yet, they’re still loaded.
But now that the recruiting phase is over, we are in full-blown offseason mode. At least when the season really ends with the National Championship Game, there is still a month of recruiting news and drama to tide die-hard fans over until National Signing Day. Now, we’re left to watch college basketball and whatever else entertain us until the weather turns and it’s time for spring football.
This will be the first time to see the incoming recruits that enrolled in January and also the first time to see new coaches in new places. Spring is a time for optimism and hope and renewal and I am already counting down the days until spring practice kicks off and we have spring football games to watch and analyze every last detail and speculate what it means for the upcoming 2018 season.

The first spring game is a little more than a month away when Colorado has their spring game on March 17. The bulk of the spring games take place over the first three Saturdays in April however, so it’s a bit of a wait until then. Basically, once March Madness is over, it’s time for spring ball.
You can see the entire spring game schedule below, courtesy of FBSchedules. Appalachian State and Vanderbilt will not have a spring game this year.
