Chadwick Boseman and Andy Serkis have already appeared in other Marvel movies, but what other famous actors are part of the Black Panther cast list?

The third phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is winding down, with Black Panther serving as the final movie before we see superhero worlds colliding once more with Avengers: Infinity War later this year. We’ve seen all but one of the Infinity Stones so far, with the Soul Stone likely making an appearance sometime throughout the film.

Chadwick Boseman stars as T’Challa, the king of the fictional kingdom of Wakanda where the majority of the film takes place. Not only does he reign atop a throne, he also takes action into his own hands as Black Panther, the titular character. He faces off against Michael B. Jordan as Erik “Killmonger” Stevens; an American black-ops soldier who seeks to overthrow the Wakandan monarchy by force after being exiled.

In true Marvel movie fashion, the main hero and villain of Black Panther are ready to engage in escalating battles while wearing a similar-looking suit and series of powers, but there are also a great number of great actresses in the movie, too. The Walking Dead’s Danai Gurira leads the all-female special Wakandan special forces, the Dora Milaje, playing the role of Okoye. Black Panther’s former lover, Nakia, is played by Lupita Nyongo’o, showing that Disney has no issue with the Marvel Cinematic Universe crossing over into Star Wars casting for their important movies.

Here is the rest of the Black Panther cast list, with its wonderfully excellent, diverse group of actors:

  • Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa / Black Panther
  • Michael B. Jordan as Erik “Killmonger” Stevens
  • Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia
  • Danai Gurira as Okoye
  • Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross
  • Daniel Kaluuya as W’Kabi
  • Letitia Wright as Shuri
  • Winston Duke as M’Baku
  • Angela Bassett as Ramonda
  • Forest Whitaker as Zuri
  • Andy Serkis as Ulysses Klaue

Black Panther will be released on Feb. 16, 2018, in the United States.
