Winter Olympics medal count update: Monday, February 12

Here are all the athletes that won medals on Monday, February 12 at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
Another day and another gold medal in snowboarding for the United States. Jamie Anderson won gold in the women’s slopestyle despite heavy winds, giving Team USA a clean sweep in the slopestyle event.
Team USA also won the bronze medal in Team Figure Skating, behind Canada and the “Olympic Athletes from Russia.”
Monday also brought about the first pair of multi-event medalists. Germany’s Laura Dahlmeier won a second gold medal in the biathlon women’s 10km pursuit, previously medaling in the 7.5km spring.
Ireen Wust won a second speed skating medal. After winning silver in the women’s 3,000m, she won gold in the 1,500m.
Norway still holds the lead with nine total medals and walked away with the gold in ski jumping, ladies’ normal individual hill. It was their only medal of the day.
Germany won another gold medal, moving their gold total to four. Germany also won a silver medal in ski jumping to move their total till seven.
