Black Panther looks to be the latest superhero hit from Marvel, but should you stick around after the film for a post-credits scene?

Black Panther has had everyone raving every since the first trailer hit the airwaves. The latest release from Marvel Studios looks to be a revolutionary film for the superhero film genre. Critics have been praising the film prior to its wide release in theaters and it looks to be a smash hit. Of course, that’s not all that surprising.

Directed by Ryan Coogler and starring Chadwick Boseman as the titular hero and Michael B. Jordan as Killmonger, the film’s antagonist, Black Panther has been raved about from every angle. Not only is it a celebration of African-American culture in numerous ways, but it’s also a thrilling and visually stunning cinematic event by all accounts.

Of course, when it comes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, all things are connected. Black Panther appeared in Captain America: Civil War and will be a part of the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War, which releases in May 2018. Because of that, fans always scour for easter eggs and hints as to what could happen next.

Having said that, there are always not-so-subtle clues as to what’s to come in the MCU in the form of post-credits scenes. Whereas there may be tidbits of information sprinkled throughout a Marvel film, the directors, producers and studio executives always drop more in-your-face teasers during or after the credits of Marvel films.

Thus, you’d have to assume from the get-go that this would be no different. But it never hurts to answer the question outright: Does Black Panther have a post-credits scene?
