DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 13, 2018
High Salary PG
Russell Westbrook, OKC vs CLE ($11,400): Westbrook is currently listed as questionable with an ankle injury. He’s missed the last two games with the injury, but my gut tells me that he’s able to play in this one. If not, you can save a lot of money with De’Aaron Fox, who should be in for a 30-plus fantasy point game against the Mavericks. If Westbrook plays, he’ll get you his typical 50-plus fantasy points. He had 67.75 fantasy points against the Cavaliers on Jan. 20, Cleveland is a much different team now, but they weren’t facing a dynamic offensive team like the Thunder. If he plays, play him. *****
Chris Paul, HOU at MIN ($9,100): Paul had 54.4 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Sunday. He had 47 fantasy points against the Timberwolves on Jan. 18. With Jimmy Butler in the lineup, he typically takes on the task of guarding James Harden. That means Paul is freed up on the offensive end. another big night should be in store for the Houston guard. 45-plus fantasy points is not out of the question. ****
Dennis Smith Jr., DAL vs SAC ($7,300): Smith Jr. has been over value in three straight, including a 40.25 fantasy point effort against the Rockets on Sunday. He had 27.25 fantasy points against the Kings on Feb. 3. That number would put him under value on Tuesday. He’s played well in recent contests and the Kings are 29th against point guards in their last 15 games. Smith Jr. should bounce back from that Feb. 3 performance and be over value once again. ****
