All the Baltimore Ravens needed to do in Week 17 was beat the lowly Cincinnati Bengals at home and they would be in the playoffs. Well, the Ravens played some of their worst football of the season, and in the process, saw their season end in front of their home fans. Quarterback Joe Flacco has been a bit mediocre since leading the team to a Super Bowl victory, and fans have to be wondering whether the team will ever get back to the mountain top with him as their signal-caller.

Heading into next season, the Ravens need to add more weapons on the offensive side of the ball. The running back situation has been influx for years, and it may be time to spend a first round pick on the position. Saquon Barkley is the top running back in this draft class, but there are a few other names that are starting to gain momentum. One is LSU’s Derrius Guice, who has first round talent written all over him.

Guice has the talent to make things happen in the passing game, as well as the running game, which the Ravens could certainly use. They still have a top defense, which always makes them dangerous, so adding a running back makes a lot of sense in the middle of the first round. This is very close to being a playoff team in 2018, and with some added pieces, they may be able to challenge Pittsburgh for supremacy in the AFC North.
