36. . Offensive Tackle. Texas. Connor Williams. 18. player

For the first time since 2011, the Seattle Seahawks failed to make the playoffs, and heads have been rolling this offseason. The organization got rid of a ton of their coaches, and the roster really has some holes in it heading into next season. The stellar Legion of Boom defense suffered through a ton of injuries last season, and the offense played inconsistent football throughout.

The real issue was the fact that Russell Wilson was basically running for his life every week. While he is still one of the more elite quarterbacks in the NFL, his career is going to be short-lived if he continues to take that kind of pounding on a weekly basis. The Seahawks are only going to go as far as he is going to take them, which means they need to spend a first round pick on an offensive tackle in April.

While guys like Mike McGlinchey and Orlando Brown may be off the board by pick No. 18, there is a good chance that Connor Williams could be available. Williams has been one of the better offensive tackles in college football for some time now, and he will certainly hear his name called in the first round. Seattle swung a trade deadline deal to get Duane Brown this season, but he is a short-term solution, and Williams could be the guy to protect Wilson for the rest of his career.
