16. . Defensive Tackle. Michigan. Maurice Hurst. 21. player

The Buffalo Bills will pick twice in the first round in April, and thanks to the fact they made the AFC Playoffs as a Wild Card team, the picks will be back-to-back. The first of two picks is their own, which they earned by losing in the Divisional Round. While the loss in the playoffs can be seen as a negative, they did make the playoffs for the first time since 1999, so you have to think the organization is on the right track.

There is a good chance the Bills could trade one of these two picks, but if they stay at No. 21, they may want to look at a player who can bolster their defensive line. Maurice Hurst has been a beast for the Michigan Wolverines during his collegiate career, and should have an instant impact at the next level. This Bills defense was solid in 2017, and using both of their first round picks on that side of the ball could make them elite.

Hurst has the size and strength to be a dominant figure in the middle of this Bills defense for years to come. Their young secondary played very well last season, and that included Tre’Davious White, who turned out to be a standout cornerback in his first season in the NFL. Hurst could have that same kind up impact up front for Buffalo in 2018, and the team just may be looking and their second consecutive trip to the playoffs.
