The match between the women’s USA and Switzerland teams is a very important early match in this year’s Olympics.

Even though it is still very early in the women’s curling tournament, the match on Thursday between USA and Switzerland is a big match. Both squads have lost the only match they have played so far, and neither team will want to fall into an 0-2 hole right out of the gate. There are 10 teams in the tournament and only the top four make it into the semi-finals. All teams play each other once, so the pressure is going to be squarely on the loser of this game.

The USA team has sent Nina Roth, Tabitha Peterson, Aileen Geving, Becca Hamilton and Cory Christensen. Team Switzerland will counter with Silvana Tirinzoni, Esther Neuenschwander, Manuela Siegrist, and Jenny Perret. The United States lost to Japan by a score of 10 to 5 while Switzerland was downed by the People’s Republic of China by the final score of 7 to 2.

This match is actually on at a reasonable hour of the day, which isn’t always the case for these Games since they’re taking place in Korea. It will air at 5:00 pm on Thursday afternoon and fans who need to stream it can use the NBC Sports app, Hulu, or fuboTV among some other options. The best way to do things is the NBC Sports app since they own the rights to the 2018 Olympics. Fans will get a short 30 minute free preview before being prompted to enter what type of TV service you have. Fortunately, anything from DirecTV to Sling TV to other cable services work just fine. Even if you don’t have one of the services, you can sign up for the free trial and just be sure to cancel it before the trial expires.

Since the match is so pivotal, it is likely to be a good game and an excellent place to start for any fan looking to learn about the sport. For those who aren’t a novice, it will be a fun watch regardless.
