Group C competition continues in the 2018 Olympic Games as Norway takes on Finland. With positioning on the line, here is where you can watch the match!

Drama is unfolding in the Olympic Games, and Men’s Ice Hockey is part of the story. After just one game in Group C, Finland is showing it is not to be taken lightly. It was a favorite coming into the tournament and defeated Germany rather handily.  Norway was not so lucky. Not only did it not earn any standings points in its opening match, it failed to score against Sweden.

Now, Finland turns its attention to Norway. In its opening game, Finland showed it has a star in the making. Eighteen-year-old Eeli Tolvanen took to the stage well in his first Olympic match, tallying a goal and three assists. Tolvanen, who was drafted by the Nashville Predators in 2017, is part of why Finland is among the pre-tournament favorites.

Norway could face elimination with a loss against Finland. After not scoring in its opening match, Norway needs to come out firing. Finland’s goalie Mikko Koskinen allowed two goals on 24 shots. Eight of the 12 teams in tournament move on to the quarterfinals. With zero goal and zero points in the standings, Norway could be on the outside looking in.

And Finland would be assured of making the quarters with a victory. With a roster filled with NHL prospects, they are a strong contender to stand on the medal platform when all is said and done.
