Olympics Alpine Team Event live stream, start time, TV channel

Alpine skiing at the 2018 Winter Olympics concludes with the Alpine team competition. Which country will come out atop the mountain when the snow settles?
For the first time at the Winter Olympics, the mixed Alpine team parallel slalom competition makes its debut. Skiing side-by-side on identical courses set up with giant slalom gates, pairs of skiers do battle with one another in hopes of claiming victory for their team.
Sixteen countries were selected for the field competing for the inaugural gold medal in the event. Each round features four runs, with two heats for the men and two for the women on each national team. Countries go head-to-head in a bracket format until one is crowned Olympic champion. Victory is determined either by the first team to win three runs or, in the case of a 2-2 finish, by the aggregate time of the four ski runs.
The event first featured at the FIS World Championships in 2011. France won the event twice out of the four times it has been held there and are the defending world champions in the event. They conclude their time in South Korea among the favorites to capture the first Olympic gold in the Alpine team event.
Who could overtake France on the parallel slalom course?
France will need to look out for Austria, which is currently leading the FIS Nations Cup standings. Austria currently sits over 1800 points ahead of Switzerland in the FIS rankings, and they are one of the top contenders to take down the current world champions.
Switzerland, Italy, Norway, and the United States round out the top five of the current Nations Cup race. All four will be in the mix for podium spots, which should make for some fierce competition. You won’t want to miss the Olympic debut of this new event on the Winter Olympics program.
