3. Dallas Cowboys

Now, this would be quite the spot for Ansah to land. The Cowboys are already working to retain DeMarcus Lawrence this offseason. Even with his high asking price, it’s almost certain he’ll be back in Dallas for at least one more season. Jerry Jones could double up on the pass rush and sign Ansah in free agency and what a pairing that would make.

The Cowboys were average in the pass rush department besides Lawrence last season. He accounted for more than half of the team’s 38 total sacks last season. Taco Charlton had an underwhelming rookie season for a first-round pick, finishing with just three total sacks. The Cowboys must improve in the pass-rush department next season to have a fighting chance in the NFC East.

If there’s a sought-after free agent destination it’s Dallas. Why wouldn’t you want to play for America’s team? The logo alone holds a wealth of history from Roger Staubach to the most recent Super Bowls with Emmitt Smith, Troy Aikman, and Michael Irvin. The Cowboys are a big-market team where Ansah could quickly develop into a household name.

Even after their struggles last season, the Cowboys hold a wealth of young talent on both sides of the ball. With Ezekiel Elliott available for a full 16-game season, this team has the ability to make a deep postseason run, something Ansah hasn’t been able to do with the Lions over the course of his young career.
