2. Arsenal’s woes continue with loss to Brighton

Arsenal’s season went from bad to worse last weekend, when they were taken apart by Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final. The Gunners had done extremely well to make the final but their performance in it was lackluster to say the least.

This weekend, Arsene Wenger takes his team to the Amex Stadium to face off against Chris Hughton’s Brighton. The Seagulls have done well since coming up to the Premier League but they’ll need to stay strong in the last 10 games if they want to stay up.

A game against Arsenal is never an easy one but this is probably the best time to face the Gunners as the London side looks out of sorts. If Brighton can pounce on Arsenal’s defensive frailties, they have a good chance of getting something out of this match.

However, Hughton’s side will need to be weary of the Gunners attacking threat, as both Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have shown they can produce against lesser sides.

This should be a very close game but this weekend Arsenal’s struggles will continue as they lose out to a Brighton team that wants to win more than they do.
